WatchGameFilm Canada!

WatchGameFilm has proudly served Canadian youth, high school, club, and college teams for years, and we're excited to take the next step in a bigger, more intentional way. 🇨🇦

We're expanding our Canadian presence as we prepare the next chapter of the platform, with a stronger focus on supporting Canadian programs directly and helping more teams access the tools they need to teach, evaluate, and improve.

This matters for more than convenience. For Canadian organizations, especially those working with athletes under 18, a dedicated Canadian presence helps support programs that are working to align with privacy expectations, data handling requirements, and compliance considerations around minors.

We're also specifically working toward stronger alignment with PIPEDA by re-locating our Canadian customer data operations from Los Angeles to data center infrastructure in Toronto and Montreal. For Canadian teams, that means their data is being moved to remain securely housed within Canada, helping organizations meet internal expectations around privacy, residency, and the handling of athlete information.

A Stronger Canadian Presence

Part of that growth includes adding leadership with deep roots in Canadian athletics. Our expanding effort in Canada is about more than availability. It's about understanding the coaches, athletes, schools, clubs, and organizations that make Canadian sports unique.

We're proud to welcome Sherilyn Fiveash to the WatchGameFilm team to help bring our new and improved platform home to Canada.

Sherilyn is a Toronto native with a lifelong connection to athletics. She comes from a family with a deep sports background and has her own experience as a multi-sport athlete, collegiate competitor, sports information professional, and media producer.

Over the years, her career has included work with nationally ranked athletic programs and major sporting events across North America. She has also built experience filming high school and college athletics through her production work, giving her a practical understanding of what teams, departments, and organizations need from a modern sports platform.

That means:

  • Better support for Canadian teams and organizations
  • A stronger connection to the communities we serve
  • A clearer path for schools, clubs, and departments looking for an affordable film solution
  • More confidence for programs handling athlete data for minors and younger teams
  • Canadian customer data being kept within the confines of Canada as we expand our Toronto and Montreal footprint

Built for Programs at Every Level

From youth and high school teams to club and college programs, WatchGameFilm is designed to help staffs work smarter and help athletes improve faster.

Our goal is simple: give teams a film platform that is practical, affordable, and powerful enough to support the entire season.

That includes helping programs manage video, communication, and player development in a way that better fits the real-world needs of Canadian schools, clubs, and organizations.

Looking Ahead

We're excited about what comes next for WatchGameFilm in Canada and look forward to supporting even more programs as the platform continues to grow.
